SUMMARY:2026 Vintage & Classic Euro Car Celebration in Canandaigua NY
DESCRIPTION:Heads-up for anyone with a Porsche built in 2001 or earlier: there’s a great-looking show in Canandaigua on Saturday\, May 16 that’s right in our wheelhouse. It’s open to classic and vintage cars manufactured in England\, Europe\, and Japan prior to 2001 — so plenty of air-cooled 911s\, 914s\, 944s\, 928s\, and early water-cooled cars will be welcome. \nThis isn’t an FLK Region sponsored event\, but we’re showing up as a club and we’d love to have you with us. Here’s what’s planned: \n\nSpecial Cars & Coffee from 9–11 AM before the show kicks off\, with treats supplied by FLK PCA\nDedicated group parking so we can all line up together at the show\nFLK PCA membership booth on-site — and we’re looking for volunteers to help staff it for an hour or two. Let me know if you can lend a hand.\n$10 registration fee is reimbursed the day of the show for FLK PCA members* (*registration fee will be reimbursed the day of the show to the first 10 members to enter)\n\nCheck-in and lineup start at 10:30 AM. The car cruise begins at 11:00 AM\, and cars will be lining the street by 11:30. If you’re bringing more than one car\, just change the quantity when you register. DESCRIPTION:Watkins Glen Laps & Lunch \nEver wanted to take your car around one of America’s most legendary road courses? Here’s your chance. Join your fellow Finger Lakes Region members for three laps behind the Pace Car at Watkins Glen International — and then stick around for a relaxed group lunch afterward. Come for the laps\, come for the lunch\, or come for both. Either way\, we’d love to see you there. \nThe Laps \nYou’ll need to purchase your own track tickets — available at the gate day-of ($40)\, or grab them online now with a 10% discount for our group ($35). (You’ll be prompted to create an account with Ticketmaster to complete your purchase.) \nHere’s what to know: \n\nArrive at Gate 2 no later than 11:15 AM. You’ll need time to sign waiver forms before we roll. Track time begins promptly at noon — no exceptions.\nOnce through Gate 2\, take the first right into the staging area. If you’re first on-site\, park at the top of the road. Everyone else lines up directly behind. We’ll stage here until staff lead us onto the track.\nDrivers must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license. Your vehicle must be currently registered and insured.\nWe’ll drive three laps behind the Pace Car.\n\nThe Lunch \nAfter the laps\, we’ll head over to Kookalarocs Restaurant (107 11th Street\, Watkins Glen) for a group lunch.
